Fish Across Texas

Fish Across Texas is an all-encompassing resource dedicated to helping men, women and children of all ages and experience levels get the most out of their angling experience in the Lone Star State. To accomplish this goal, Fish Across Texas utilizes a family-oriented, multi-media platform to offer educational presentations and competitive events designed to showcase Texas’ wildly varied, high quality fishery and heighten the fishing experience for all anglers.

  TIFT  (Texas International Fishing Tournament)
  For more than 67 years the Texas International Fishing Tournament has taken pride in creating an atmosphere of friendly fishing competition and wholesome family fun. Our five day event, scheduled for August 2 - 6, 2006, offers fishing divisions that include bay, offshore and tarpon. TIFT is open to anglers of all ages and is the largest saltwater fishing tournament in Texas.
   
  Ladies Kingfish Tournament
  The tournament is divided into two divisions, Bay and Offshore. Anglers fishing in the Bay Division will vie for trophies in the categories of Redfish, Trout and Flounder, while anglers in the Offshore Division complete in the categories of King, Bonito, Blackfin Tuna and Dolphin. In addition to trophies being awarded to the first four places in each category; Grand Champion Bay, Grand Champion Offshore, and Overall Largest Fish winners will also receive trophies, along with the best hard luck story for each division.
